We are very excited to include Animal Behaviour Specialist and World Leader in Veterinary Behaviour Dr Kersti Seksel as a supporting tutor to Dr Tracey Henderson and Tracy Bache in the November Safe Animal Behaviour and Handling Workshop in Adelaide, South Australia.
Being held on Friday November 6th and Saturday Novermber 7th, there will be an opportunity to spend Sunday exploring the McLaren Vale Wineries for anyone who wishes to stay around as well.
This workshop is a vital learning opportunity for any employee who has ever been bitten or scratched by a dog or cat because when you understand the risks you can learn how to minimise them.
Any employee who has had to submit an injury report associated with animal encounters would benefit from this workshop. Any employee who feels nervous approaching an animal in a cage at any time – especially when they are hissing or growling will benefit from this workshop.
It is also open to practice managers and employers who want to create a safe environment for their staff.
Hope to see you there – Registrations are open now.
Sincerely,
Ilana
