Biography:
Fernando graduated from the University of Madrid. After a period in practice both in Spain and the UK he completed an internship and then a residency in anaesthesia at the University of Bristol. Following this he was clinical anaesthetist at the University of Cambridge and a locum anaesthetist at various referral hospitals in the UK. In 2011, he lead the anaesthesia and analgesia services at North Downs Specialist Referrals and in 2016 at Wear Referrals. Between 2015 and 2016, he was clinical specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the University of Sydney. Fernando has been a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia, at the University of Sydney since 2017.
